I am on the trail at Yellow River Park today. Easy day today, so just a x-training walk while I record.

I play a comment that I received from Martha in Indianapolis. (I would also like to apologize to Martha for calling her Marsha a couple of times while I was recording on the trail.)

You can send me a comment by going to losttrailrunner.com and clicking on the Speakpipe button and recording.

Here is the latest installment of my podcast. I was first going to publish it as a Ron'sUpdate podcast, but changed my mind when it turned out to be over 30 minutes.

I go for my weekly long run on the Greenway Trail in Lilburn. I will have to admit that my long run is fairly short since I am only into my 2nd week back running.

I talk about various races that I am planning to run, my running shoes, and the Garmin that I have ordered.

Turned out to be a great day for a run.

The intro and outro music is from Digitaljuice. The intro is "Hardwired" and the outro is "OneToothSmile".

The podcast was recorded on an Olympus WS-853 Digital Recorder with a Giant Squid mic and edited on Hindenburg Journalist software.

A little about not running a half marathon, a little about going to the expo for the half I didn't run, and a little about my injury.

This is my long overdue update on what's happening in my running. Ran a trail race at Chateau Elan and injured myself. Therefore my Half Marathon on December 17th is now in jeopardy. Actually it is more out of the question now. I am going to see if I can switch to the Virtual option of the race, which will give me more time to recover hopefully.

I went out to Stone Mountain to see if I could even run since I haven't been able to run since Nov. 18th. I managed to get in a 35 minute run/walk and felt encouraged but realized that the Half is really not doable in December. I Have to get into some serious rehab for my leg.

I am in my kitchen during the first segment of the podcast having a sandwich before I go out for my run. During the time I am preparing my sandwich I give an update on this year's Peachtree Road Race.

During segment two I am on the Greenway trail. After my hill workout I record during my cool down. I continue my Peachtree update. Then I talk about signing up for the Galloway Customized Training Program to give me some structure to my running.

This podcast was recorded on a Zoom Handy Recorder H2 and edited on Hindenburg Journalist.

The intro and outtro music was Jupiter_Standard from Digital Juice at digitaljuice.com

I then give a couple of updates on my running, and trying to do a little YouTubing.

The intro and outro music is from Digitaljuice. The intro is "Hardwired" and the outro is "OneToothSmile".

The podcast was recorded on a Zoom H1 Handy Recorder and edited on Hindenburg Journalist software.

I took my running shoes, heart rate monitor and bike to Tribble Mill Park today to get in a couple of workouts.

The other day I downloaded the MAF app to my iPhone and took all of the surveys thus determining that my correct MAF heart rate is a 100 bpm. This is my 1st run using such a low threshold, I had been using a 118 or 121 bpm heart rate.

Ran mighty slow, but it felt good in the hot weather. So, I guess I will stay with 100 bpm for awhile to see what happens.

I will be running the XTERRA Deep South 15K Trail race on June 3rd, so we will see how I do after a couple of weeks of really slow running. Not that I was fast before.

The intro and outro music is from Digitaljuice. The intro is "Hardwired" and the outro is "OneToothSmile".

The podcast was recorded on a Zoom H1 Handy Recorder and edited on Hindenburg Journalist software.
