I start the podcast in my backyard discussing the idea that it is better to strive for consistency than perfection in training.
I then hop in my car and record on my way to Stone Mountain for a short walk on the trail. Once I finish my trail walk I record again on the way home. I ramble on about running shoes, etc.
This episode was recorded on an Olympus Digital Voice Recorder WS-853 using a PowerDeWise Lav Mic and edited on Hindenburg Lite software.
The Intro music was "Out the Back" and the Outtro was "Letters from Wyoming" both from Epidemic Sound.

Went out on the trail around Venable Lake at Stone Mountain this afternoon and had a slow meandering walk around the lake. So, as usual this is a rambling podcast of me just talking to you and myself. I discuss various things like training, shoes and my lack of motivation. I hope you enjoy it.
The intro music is from Digital Juice and the outtro music is from Epidemic Sound.

Here is the long overdue episode 130. I talk a little about what I have been doing for training during the COVID-19 outbreak. I discuss Zwift some and then I also talk about the races that I have done this year and the cancellation of the Disney Star Wars Rivals 10K. Hope you are doing well in the present circumstances.
The intro and outro music is from Digital Juice.
This podcast was recorded using a Yeti Nano USB mic as well as a Zoom H1 Handy Recorder and edited using Hindenburg Journalist.

I am out at Stone Mountain walking on the trail to Indian Island. Just completed a bike ride testing out my refurbished mountain bike. Found that I am really out of bike shape, if I start riding more it should help my running fitness.
I just kind of ramble on about various things as I walk. I hope you enjoy my rambling. Of course, you could send me some feedback to tell me what you would like to hear.
The intro and outro music is from Digitaljuice. The intro is "Hardwired" and the outro is "OneToothSmile".
The podcast was recorded on a Zoom H1 Handy Recorder and edited on Hindenburg Journalist software.

This episode is originally published on my Ron'sUpdate feed as episode 129. Hopefully I will get organized and get out a LostTrailRunner episode soon.
Update time, I seem to have hurt my back. I don't know if it was a result of the 9 days + of riding my bike trainer or old age or both.
Anyway I seem to have recovered using ibuprofen and stretching, and I have been able to get some runs in even though they have been slower than usual.
I have added a song to the podcast for a change and here is the attribution:

I headed out to the trail at Stone Mountain and did a little walking with my trekking poles. I have had them for a while but haven't used them much. I think I will add a couple of walks a week using the poles. I seem to be able to get my heart rate up a little higher using the poles.
The intro is "KerryInGreen" and the outtro is “TurnCoat“, both from Digital Juice at digitaljuice.com.
This podcast was recorded using the Ferrite app on my iPhone 6s.
Please go on iTunes and give my podcast a review the more the better, I would really appreciate it.

Hopefully I will be more consistent with these podcasts. I give the reason, or at least the major reason why I haven't recorded that much.
I talk about why I skipped the Athens, GA 1/2 that I had scheduled. My new goal is the JG 13.1 in Atlanta on December 13th.

I talk about why I skipped the Athens, GA 1/2 that I had scheduled. My new goal is the JG 13.1 in Atlanta on December 13th.
The first of the coming year I have decided to start running the ATC Resolution Run and continue running that race going forward.
I discuss the reason that I haven't been running much on the trails lately.
Need to start running on the trails more often, started planning for next year now. Want to run on the Appalachian Trail between Woody's Gap and Blood Mountain (actually Neels Gap) this coming spring.
While listening to "The Extra Mile Podcast Galloway Edition Episode 2.3" I was surprised to hear my name brought up in a conversation between Jeff Galloway and Kevin Gwin.
I go over my training for the JG 13.1.
I mention the SpeakPipe widget on my website and would like for someone, anyone to call and leave a message. The SpeakPipe widget is located at "losttrailrunner.com".
My email is ron@losttrailrunner.com if you would like to send a note.
I record a little in my car on my way home from Stone Mountain after a run with Laura (my daughter) at the mountain.

Well, I finally got a 95th podcast out. I didn't think I would ever get it done.
Anyway this podcast is in 2 segments, the 1st I am running on the trail out at Stone Mountain and the 2nd I am running with my daughter Laura at Lilburn Park.
During my run on the trail I mostly ramble on as I usually do.
My run with Laura is the 1st run of our new training plan, a short 2 miler. Not training for any major race, just training to have structure. Will figure out races later.
Hope you enjoy, the podcast and please subscribe in iTunes. Thanks!
The intro music is "OneToothSmile" and the outro is "Hardwired", both from Digitaljuice.com
The music between segments is from Free Music Archive at freemusicarchive.org and is: "Walk at Night" by Black Math.
