I could call this my Kitchen cast. I was in my kitchen when the mood struck me to do a little recording. I discuss my recent attack of GoPro-iitis, the urge to buy everything GoPro.

I then give a couple of updates on my running, and trying to do a little YouTubing.

The intro and outro music is from Digitaljuice. The intro is "Hardwired" and the outro is "OneToothSmile".

The podcast was recorded on a Zoom H1 Handy Recorder and edited on Hindenburg Journalist software.

I took my running shoes, heart rate monitor and bike to Tribble Mill Park today to get in a couple of workouts.

The other day I downloaded the MAF app to my iPhone and took all of the surveys thus determining that my correct MAF heart rate is a 100 bpm. This is my 1st run using such a low threshold, I had been using a 118 or 121 bpm heart rate.

Ran mighty slow, but it felt good in the hot weather. So, I guess I will stay with 100 bpm for awhile to see what happens.

I will be running the XTERRA Deep South 15K Trail race on June 3rd, so we will see how I do after a couple of weeks of really slow running. Not that I was fast before.

I am out at Stone Mountain walking on the trail to Indian Island. Just completed a bike ride testing out my refurbished mountain bike. Found that I am really out of bike shape, if I start riding more it should help my running fitness.

I just kind of ramble on about various things as I walk. I hope you enjoy my rambling. Of course, you could send me some feedback to tell me what you would like to hear.

The intro and outro music is from Digitaljuice. The intro is "Hardwired" and the outro is "OneToothSmile".

My first podcast in a very long time. I am at Bethesda Park today recording this podcast as I walk, I will be running after I finish recording.

I give you an update on what has been happening lately. Not all good.

Ran a short trail race last weekend even though I really wasn't in race shape.

Talk some about upcoming races that I have registered for, now I need to start training.

Getting my mountain bike refurbished so I can ride some with my son.

Some ideas on what I would like to do with my bike in the future.

The intro and outro music is from Digitaljuice. The intro is "Hardwired" and the outro is "OneToothSmile".

The podcast was recorded on a Zoom H1 Handy Recorder and edited on Hindenburg Journalist software.

Hopefully I will be more consistent with these podcasts. I give the reason, or at least the major reason why I haven't recorded that much.

I talk about why I skipped the Athens, GA 1/2 that I had scheduled. My new goal is the JG 13.1 in Atlanta on December 13th.

The first of the coming year I Hopefully I will be more consistent with these podcasts. I give the reason, or at least the major reason why I haven't recorded that much.

I talk about why I skipped the Athens, GA 1/2 that I had scheduled. My new goal is the JG 13.1 in Atlanta on December 13th.

The first of the coming year I have decided to start running the ATC Resolution Run and continue running that race going forward.

I discuss the reason that I haven't been running much on the trails lately.

Need to start running on the trails more often, started planning for next year now. Want to run on the Appalachian Trail between Woody's Gap and Blood Mountain (actually Neels Gap) this coming spring.

While listening to "The Extra Mile Podcast Galloway Edition Episode 2.3" I was surprised to hear my name brought up in a conversation between Jeff Galloway and Kevin Gwin.

I go over my training for the JG 13.1.

I mention the SpeakPipe widget on my website and would like for someone, anyone to call and leave a message. The SpeakPipe widget is located at "losttrailrunner.com".

My email is ron@losttrailrunner.com if you would like to send a note.

I record a little in my car on my way home from Stone Mountain after a run with Laura (my daughter) at the mountain.

This is episode 98 of the LostTrailRunner Podcast, actually it is episode 120 of my other podcast the "Ron'sUpdate Podcast". Since I have been falling down on the job of recording new episodes of the LTR, I thought that I would do a little cross pollination and maybe I could get some new listeners to my RU podcast.

--------------------------------------

While I am in my mobile recording studio I give an update on my Peachtree Road Race on July 4th.

I go over the couple of half marathons I am planning in October and December.

I also discuss the upcoming XTERRA Trail Run GA Series.

The intro song is “MeanToHurt” and the outtro is “OneTooth Smile“, both from Digital Juice at digitaljuice.com.

This podcast was recorded on an iPod Nano G6 with an earpod mic.

I have submitted this podcast feed to iTunes as "LostTrailRunner II" and am awaiting approval. When that happens I will be deactivating my old feed and this will be it. All of my old "LostTrailRunner" podcasts will still be available at www.losttrailrunner.com.  I will start over with episode 1 on this feed as soon as it gets approved by iTunes.  See you then.  In the meantime why don't you go to iTunes and subscribe to "Ron'sUpdate/LostTrailRunner", my short format podcast.

Just Keep Moving!

I have changed my Feedburner account to point towards the Podbean feed of my Podcast. I am in the process of trying to get iTunes to point to Podbean as well. That may be more difficult based on some of the info I have read on the subject. You can still go to my website LostTrailRunner and get any archived podcasts. Hope this all works out OK.  JUST KEEP MOVING!
